What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is not only fun, but also the most efficient training regimen for those of us short on time. High intensity, combined with various functional movements, yields results a lot faster than you think. Our workouts consist of constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. This approach produces measurable outcomes, and we will help you safely start your CrossFit journey, no matter your current fitness level. Our dedicated coaches teach you the foundational movements and adjust the workouts to match your fitness level, ensuring you get the most out of each session.

Do I have to be fit to start CrossFit?

No! You don’t become fit to join CrossFit, you join CrossFit to become fit! While some movements might seem intimidating, we’ll scale the workout appropriately to keep you safe and help you progress.

What does a training session look like and how does it fit into only an hour?

People often hesitate to start a fitness regimen because they are unsure of what to do, how to warm up, perform movements correctly, and they don’t enjoy working out alone. Our dedicated Coaches guide you through a 60-minute class with the following components:

  • Warm-Up: The coach will take the class through a warm-up to prepare you for the rest of the session.
  • Strength or Skill Work: After the warm-up, we lead the class through a skill/strength practice, typically related to the movements in that day's workout.
  • Workout: Once everyone is ready, we start the clock, and the entire class does the workout together.
  • Cooldown: Fist bumps, sharing scores, and stretching to transition you back into your day.

With this structure, each session is designed to maximize efficiency, ensure proper technique, and foster a supportive community environment.

At CrossFit Sarajevo, we provide a fitness experience like no other. Our group classes are kept small, with a maximum of 12-14 people, ensuring you receive the attention and guidance you deserve. Our coaches are not only certified and competent but also bring 9 years of CrossFit coaching experience to every session. They are dedicated to making your workouts both fun and challenging.
